Skadi Goddess of Winter Statue
Skadi in a Norse goddess associated with winter, snow mountains, hunting and archery. In this sculpture, she holds a bow and arrow on one hand and a venom vial on the other. The venom would be dripped on Loki's face as he was captured and each time the venom basin touches his face, Loki writhes in pain, causing the tremors and earthquakes around us. The special production process of this piece, originated from Great Britain, uses actual bronze powder mixed in the cold cast resin in order to ensures a richer, more life-like presentation. This piece has a substantial feel to it. It is much more beautiful in person and is heavy for its size. The bottom is furnished with felt for the protection of your furniture.
